During a routine inspection
They also told us the home provided good quality food and catered for people's individual diets. One relative said the staff went out of their way to get in food their family member likes. Another relative commented, 'I've seen the meals and tasted them ' the food is lovely and anything my (family member) wants he gets.'
All the people who used the service appeared comfortable and content with the premises. Relatives told us they thought the premise were of a high-standard and well-suited to the needs of the people living and working there.
Relatives told us they were impressed with the staff who worked in the home. One relative said, 'The staff are really, really good ' I can't fault them, they are on the ball with everything. And the (acting) manager is brilliant ' she has gone out of her way to talk to me and check everything's OK.'
This service does not currently have a registered manager. CQC are working with the provider to ensure one is put in place.
