During a routine inspection

During our inspection at Mental Health Supported Accommodation Service, we spent time visiting the office base and one of the supported living sites in Liverpool City Centre. We spoke with people who used the service and staff in a number of different roles, including the registered manager, team leader and support staff. We found that people's views and experiences were taken into account in the way the service was provided and delivered in relation to their care. Comments received from people we spoke with included, 'I feel safe here' and 'the staff are great.'

Care and support at Mental Health Supported Accommodation Service was planned and delivered in a way that was intended to ensure people's safety and welfare. People were supported by staff who were appropriated recruited, well trained and experienced at supporting them. The service had arrangements in place to safeguard people from abuse and effective systems for monitoring the quality of care.
