During a routine inspection

Springbok Care Agency provided live in carers to people in their own homes. The agency did not directly employ care staff. All of the care staff were employed by the person who received the care and support. The agency provided the introduction, training and recruitment checks. The agency also made arrangements to provide cover for sickness and annual leave.

At the time of our inspection the agency was providing care and support to 10 people. We spoke with two of them in order to understand the service from their point of view. We looked at records and files. We also spoke with the manager and three members of staff.

We used this inspection to answer our five questions. Is the service safe, is it effective, is it caring, is it responsive and is it well led?

This is a summary of what people told us and what we found. If you wish to see the evidence supporting our summary please read the full report
