Compliance actions were set asking the provider to take action regarding these concerns. They wrote to inform us that they had taken action and put measures in place to rectify the areas of concern found at this inspection.

We followed up on our inspection of 31 July 2014 to check that the provider had taken action to meet the compliance actions, by the timescale set out in their action plan. We found that Bespoke Orthodontics was able to demonstrate that they were meeting the compliance actions set in order to rectify the areas of concern identified at that inspection.

Patients experienced care, treatment and support that met their individual needs and protected their rights.

Patients were protected from the risk of abuse as staff had received training in the safeguarding of vulnerable adults and children. There were written instructions for staff to follow in order to report suspected abuse.

Although we found the location to be clean and tidy, we found that the practice did not have effective systems to reduce the risk and the spread of infection.

The provider did not have an effective system to regularly assess and monitor the quality of service that patients received.
