During an inspection looking at part of the service

Sapphire Home Care was the previous provider name. Under the previous provider's name, it was found non-compliant with outcome 2 (consent to care and treatment) and was issued a compliance action. Before we could complete a follow up inspection, the owners partnership changed which meant they are now registered as Sapphire Home Care Agency. Therefore although this report is under the new provider name, it is a follow up to the last inspection under the old provider name.

At our inspection on 12 April 2013, we found that the consent of people using the service were sought before any decisions regarding their care were taken.
