During a routine inspection

At the time of our inspection the service was supporting five people. We spoke with two of these people and with five relatives. All of the people we spoke with gave us positive feedback about the service. One of them said, 'I count on the staff coming when they say they will because I need their assistance. They're very reliable and they arrive like clockwork and they provide the care we agreed they would. I don't have any complaints at all.' A relative said, 'I'm very pleased with the care my mother gets. The staff know her really well and they put her interests first.'

People's privacy, dignity and independence were respected. Staff were courteous and kind.

People who used the service said that staff consulted with them about how they wanted to be supported. They also said that they received all of the support they needed.

There were measures to help safeguard people from abuse.

Staff had not received all of the training the provider said they needed to ensure that they had the necessary skills and knowledge to support people in the right way.

We saw that quality checks were completed to help ensure that people consistently received a good standard of service.
