During a routine inspection
The person who used the service said 'The service is absolutely wonderful, I am well looked after and am very happy'.
We looked at the persons records which included an assessment and a plan of care. These had been discussed with the person receiving the service and their relative. Their relative told us that they had agreed to the care being provided, and that the plan had been followed.
The person who received the service said that she was always treated with respect, and that she was asked at each visit what they wanted to be done and in what order.
The care plan was detailed and cross referenced with the initial assessment.
We saw the safeguarding policy and the manager understood the need to keep people safe.
The manager had thought about how to monitor the quality of the care provision and how they can encourage people to share their views of the agency.
We saw the complaints procedure, and this was part of the statement of purpose that was given to people as part of the welcome pack.
