During a routine inspection
At the time of our visit, the agency operated a domestic home support service and did not provide personal care. We were told the agency will be recruiting care staff with the intention of providing personal care in the next few months. The head of services said, 'We will soon be looking for a home services manager who will be responsible for starting this.'
During our visit we saw systems had been put in place to ensure when personal care is provided in the future, it would be safe, effective, caring, responsive to people's needs and well led. Records showed the agency had systems in place to monitor the care provided and for managing identified risks.
The agency had processes in place to monitor people's views about the service offered.
