We were told by one patient that "it was not always easy to get an appointment". However, we saw that the practice had made reasonable efforts to make the surgery more accessible for the practice population. Through work with the patient reference group the practice now offered two "open" surgeries every week where patients could attend without making a prior appointment.

The registered provider had declared non-compliance on their registration application last November. This related to staff training. Whilst much of the required training had now been completed, we found that not all staff had yet received training in fire safety.

The practice had an up to date safeguarding children and adults policy and set of procedures in place. This included contact details for staff to raise concerns with the appropriate agencies.

We found that the practice had suitable arrangements in place to assess and monitor the quality of the services it provided.
