During a routine inspection
People told us that they were happy with their treatment and the professionalism of staff. People were cared for in an environment that identified and minimised risk. Staff were observed to be friendly and accommodating towards patients and visitors.
We found that the building was safe, accessible, comfortable and clean. The treatment rooms were well equipped and suitable for purpose. The provider carried out appropriate checks on equipment and supplies within the building.
There was a robust recruitment and selection process in place with evidence of checks being undertaken for new employees. Staff had the appropriate qualifications and skills for their roles. Staff completed a thorough induction process followed by on-going professional development.
The provider had effective systems in place to monitor the quality of service provision through patient feedback and audits. The provider effectively dealt with incidents, risks and complaints. People who used the service felt able to bring a concern to the direct attention of staff.
Although the provider was registered to carry out surgical procedures, we were told that they do not carry out this regulated activity and have no plans to do so in the future.
