During an inspection in response to concerns
We met six of the seven people living at 4-6 Scholars close during our visits. People we met found it difficult to tell us their experiences of the service, but people we met looked content, and we saw staff responding to their needs in a timely way.
We looked at the arrangements to ensure that adequate numbers of skilled and experienced staff were always available. We did not find these arrangements were satisfactory. On two of our three visits the staffing arrangements were unsatisfactory.
We looked at the systems in place to ensure that safe, quality, care and support was always provided. We did not find that effective systems were in place to monitor or manage the service provided. The registered provider had not ensured that risks to people's safety and welfare had been appropriately identified or acted upon.
