During a routine inspection
People we spoke with who used the service confirmed that an assessment of their needs had been carried out before they had started receiving care. The information gathered in the assessments was used to create individual care plans for people.
People we spoke with told us they felt safe receiving care from the agency. One person told us that, "They (the staff) are helpful, pleasant and I trust them."
The recruitment procedures in place demonstrated to us that the provider operated a robust and effective recruitment procedure to protect the interests of people using the service.
We saw that there were regular meetings for care staff to discuss the needs of the people using the service, identify any changes and discuss practice issues. This meant that there were effective systems in place to assess and manage any risks to the health,safety and welfare of people using the service.
