All of the people we spoke with who used the service were happy with the care workers who came into their homes and delivered their care. Most people told us that they usually had the same carers delivering their care. People described care workers delivering good quality care and said that they thought they were well trained. One person told us: "They meet my needs. I've had no problems at all." Another person said: "They seem to look after me quite well. They are mainly the same people all the time which I think is good."

We spoke with eight staff members at the service. They all described having a structured induction into the agency and a period of shadowing. Some of the staff we spoke with told us that they thought people's care plans could be more up-to-date. One member of staff said: "I do find care plans aren't up-dated enough." Staff were generally happy working for the service and described being supported by the management.

We reviewed people's care plans as part of our inspection. We found that some lacked detail in relation to people's medication. We reviewed training records and saw that staff were well trained. However, some staff were unclear about how to report safeguarding issues outside of the agency. We made the manager aware of this during our inspection.
