During a routine inspection

This is a new service that hasn't started to operate yet. They are currently working with Halton Borough Council to 'set up' a service to four people who with family involvement are planning to move into a shared house together. The service will start properly when the funding arrangements have been finalised. In the interim they have been working with the four people to find out their needs and aspirations and have completed some pre-service assessments in the form of 'Me' folders. These folders which have been completed in an easy read format contained the following information about each person; what do I like, the best things about me, what I don't like, what I won't do, my friends, food, clothes, TV show, music and activities I like and my family.

Staff members already employed by Sanctuary Care have been working with the four people and they will be providing the service when a start date is finalised.
