People consented to care and treatment and were involved with their care. Comments included, 'I have meetings with my key worker on a regular basis', 'I have signed my care plan and I know what's in it' and 'Yes, I have a care plan and we review it to see how I'm getting on.'

There was information about the care and treatment people who used the service needed. There was also support for people in the form of peer group meetings and one to one meetings. People we spoke with told us they found this part of the service very useful and were satisfied with this level of support. Comments included, 'The support is fantastic', 'Staff are brilliant' and 'We always discuss options and goals.'

People were protected from abuse and staff had received training in identifying and reporting abuse. People told us they felt safe using the service.

Staff had received training which was relevant to their role and met the needs of the people who used the service. People told us 'I have come on in leaps and bounds since coming here and that's due to the staff' and 'The staff really do care.'

People were consulted about their care and treatment and the way in which the service was run. The provider responded to complaints and comments made by people who used the service.
