At this inspection we found that improvements had been made, the provider had reviewed their policies and procedures. These documents provided staff with the actions they must take to ensure only suitable staff were employed at the practice. Plus if people wanted to make a complaint there was information displayed informing them on how to make a complaint.
We spoke with staff who explained what they would do to ensure children and adult patients were safeguarded against the risk of abuse. Staff told us the signs that would give them concern and they were confident about the safeguarding procedure to follow.
We found recruitment procedures were not robust enough to ensure people were safe as the provider could not be sure staff were suitable and had not carried out relevant checks for all staff.
We found people did not know how to make a complaint and the patients' leaflet and complaints procedure had out of date information.
