During a routine inspection
Records showed and staff confirmed the agency had systems in place which ensured that staff were recruited who were appropriately qualified and able to do the job. One staff member said, "I had to provide documents and fill in an application form as well as giving referees from other places I worked."
We saw in records and staff confirmed they were supported to provide safe care to people through training and on going supervision. One staff member said, "The manager is really helpful we talk about the care plan every month, we go through it together."
We saw that records were well maintained and stored securely. We found problems with availability of records. For example, one of the people we visited did not have a copy of their care plan and the staff member supporting the person was also unable to locate it.
