The people we spoke with confirmed that the care agency provided a very reliable service. Comments included, "The service you get is excellent'; 'The staff are marvellous, they treat us just as they would their own parents'. "They go that extra mile'.

We observed interactions between people using the service and staff, we heard the staff speak politely to people and saw that they respected and accommodated people's wishes and personal preferences.

We looked at records in relation to the personal care provided by the care agency. We found that people received a service that was safe, effective, responsive and well managed.

We found that staff received regular supervision and annual appraisals of their work performance and they were provided with appropriate training to ensure they could do their work safely and effectively.

People told us the service was well organised. One person said 'The care I receive is excellent, I have no concerns at all, I cannot fault the staff". Another person we spoke with said " I am in a very privileged position, my carer know me very well, she spoils me'

We found there were efficient management systems in place to ensure that people received the right care, at the right time, and as agreed between them and the agency. We also found that care workers had received the appropriate training they needed to do their job effectively.
