During a routine inspection
People were supported to remain as independent as they could be and learn new skills. One person told us 'I go to the kitchen and make my own lunch or dinner.' Another person said 'I can use the washing machine, I wash my clothes.' Staff understood people's needs and how to meet them in a way they preferred. Staff were qualified and skilled to carry out their roles.
People told us they felt safe in the home. They felt they could talk to the staff or the manager about any concerns they had. People knew how to make a complaint if they needed to and felt that they would be listened to.
The service had systems in place to monitor the quality of care it provided and had acted on issues raised to make improvements.
