During a routine inspection
People spoke positively about the services provided by the agency. They told us that staff were kind and caring and treated them with respect. One person said, "I have very good support from the staff. If only all agencies were like this."
We found that people were supported to make their own decisions about the care they receive. People were involved in their care planning and consented to treatment.
We found that the practices of the agency ensured good hygiene standards and the prevention of the spread of infection. Staff confirmed that they had training in infection control.
The agency had an effective quality assurance system that took into account people's views and the complaints procedures ensured that any concerns were responded to appropriately.
