During a check to make sure that the improvements required had been made

We found that the provider has taken appropriate action to address the shortfalls in recruitment procedures identified during our last inspection. The provider has supplied records that confirm effective recruitment and selection processes were implemented at the agency. Documentation supplied confirmed that robust vetting systems were in place before appointment. Criminal Record Bureau checks were undertaken before staff started work. Full and satisfactory information was sought and received before staff were employed to work with vulnerable people. The agency provided newly recruited care staff with an appropriate induction and training programme designed for their roles.

During a routine inspection

A person receiving the service said that staff always turned up for visits, their time keeping was good and they stayed for the allotted time.

People told us that communication between the agency and people using the service was good, office staff kept in touch with people using the service to ensure that the service was meeting their needs.
