During a routine inspection

We used a number of different methods to help us understand the experiences of people who used the service, because the people using the service had complex needs which meant they were not able to tell us their experiences. We spoke to the relative of two people, who told us that staff were always professional and caring. We observed people in the communal areas and saw that people who used the service were able to do the things they wanted to do and were relaxed. We looked at care records and saw that people's needs and preferences were recorded. We saw staff interacting with people who used the service, staff were kind and respectful at all times. We spoke with staff. Staff knew how to meet people's needs and how to keep them safe.
