During a routine inspection

We spoke with the provider who was also the lead dentist, a second dentist who worked part time only and two of the dental nurses. We also provided questionnaires for people to complete whilst they waited for treatment.

The five people who answered our questionnaire wrote that they were happy with the care and treatment provided and had no complaints.

One person said; 'Ethos dentist is an excellent dentist, I have had bad experiences in the past. I am totally 'at ease' here, they are always polite and helpful and care for their patients. I can't compliment them enough.'

The dental nurses we spoke said that they felt well supported by the provider and received regular training.

During a routine inspection

We talked with three people who were visiting the dentist on the morning of the compliance visit.

People told us they had a good relationship with the dental surgeons and other staff. People said they trusted the staff, that staff were friendly. We were also told that it was easy to get an appointment.

People were able to describe the care and treatment they received and said that everything was explained to them. People also confirmed that they were given a written breakdown of the cost of their treatment.

Comments included:

'The dentist is smashing'lovely.'

And 'It's very nice here.'
