One person who used the service told us 'the care given is very good', another stated 'they soon put it right if you need anything'. A relative told us 'they keep me informed'. One person described the home as 'ok'.

The majority of people told us that the care provided was of a good standard. People had access to health services such as GP's.

Audits were carried out on the building and we saw that appropriate checks had been made to ensure that the building was safe.

The provider had carried out sufficient pre employment checks on staff.

The provider had not received any formal complaints in the last 12 months and had a procedure in place for dealing with any complaint.

One relative told us 'I'm quite happy. Know I can go home and they look after (relative) so I can relax'. Another person told is that it was a 'very friendly place. It doesn't matter what time you come'.

One relative stated that staff were 'very accommodating'. Another stated 'you can't fault one member of staff' and that staff were 'loving and caring'.

We saw evidence of thank you cards: one read 'we know (relative) was being well looked after and treated with compassion and dignity.

We found there were some concerns with care plans and pre-employment checks completed on staff.
