During an inspection in response to concerns
A relative we spoke with said that they always read the care plan and everything seemed fine. The relative said, 'We are quite satisfied to be honest. I can't believe my mother gets the care she does. I feel confident when I go home that my mum is getting the best care. They never go out of here without saying, 'are you comfortable?'
We asked people who used the service and their relatives whether they had any safeguarding concerns about the provider. No one raised any concerns. People we spoke with each told us they felt safe when receiving care. Commissioning organisations informed us that no adverse information had been received from people using the service.
No one we spoke with expressed any concerns about the suitability of the provider's staff. People we spoke with were generally positive about the skills of staff that were involved in providing care.
People we spoke with indicated that the provider's management visited their home periodically to assess the quality of care they received. The results of telephone surveys undertaken with people who used the service were positive about people's experience of the care provided.
