During a routine inspection
There was evidence people were provided with information on their care and their views and experiences were taken into account in the way the service was provided.
People’s needs were assessed and care and treatment was planned and delivered in line with their individual care plan. However, we could not find evidence of regular reviews of care plans having been undertaken.
People who use the service were not protected from the risk of abuse because the provider had not taken reasonable steps to identify the possibility of abuse and prevent abuse from happening. Staff were unaware of safeguarding procedures and how they should respond to any concern.
We found that staff were able, from time to time, to obtain further relevant qualifications.
The provider had a complaints policy in place detailing how it would respond to any complaints received.
