During a routine inspection

We spoke with four people using the service during our inspection visit. All of the people we spoke with told us they were happy with their dental care. One person said, "I have recommended this service to my colleagues and my boss" and another person told us, "I have been coming here for four years and the dentists are extremely good. I have a fear of needles and they take particular care of me." We also spoke with two dentists, the operational manager, a dental nurse and the practice manager.

People told us they felt safe and the service had policies to protect vulnerable people from the risk of abuse. All of the people using the service that we spoke with told us the practice was always very clean and hygienic and we saw there were appropriate practices in place to minimise the risk of infection.

Records showed that staff were safely recruited, which meant that people received their care and treatment from staff with appropriate qualifications and experience. There were systems in place to gather the views of people who used the service regarding the care and treatment provided.
