During an inspection looking at part of the service
We had raised a concern about the way that some of the instruments had been stored following sterilisation. They had been stored unwrapped in a cupboard. We considered that there may have been a risk that some of the instruments may have been left there for some time before being used. We asked the dentist to provide us with a report setting out the action they would take to improve. This vist was made to check that those improvements had been made. We judged that the dentist was now compliant with this outcome.
