The registered manager provided evidence the dental nurse's registrations were in date and they continued to be registered with the General Dental Council (GDC). This meant appropriately qualified staff were now working at the dental practice.
People told us they were happy with the staff at the practice. We also reviewed comments in patient feedback forms collected by the practice and these included:
"The staff are lovely"
"The staff are great and I can't fault the practice."
"I'm very satisfied with how my treatment was explained to me."
"I would not hesitate if a second treatment was needed and would recommend to anyone."
"The dentist and the dental nurse have been brilliant."
The environment of the waiting area and the surgeries of the dental practice were visibly clean and tidy.
During our visit we spoke with two of the Dental Nurses who told us that they felt they were supported to be able to undertake their job effectively and enjoyed working at the practice.
There were not enough qualified, skilled and experienced staff to meet people's needs therefore a compliance action has been issued.
