During a routine inspection
Before peoples' first appointment they were asked to complete a medical history questionnaire that asked relevant questions about allergies and medical conditions. The people using the service we spoke to described the service as "very good" and said they were "happy" with their treatment.
On the day of the inspection the practice was clean and tidy. People that we spoke with described the cleanliness of the practice in positive terms.
Staff undertook relevant Continuing Professional Development to ensure that their professional registration were maintained. They also undertook appropriate refresher training in topics such as infection control and what to do in medical emergencies, as well as further courses specific to the treatments provided by the service.
The provider had an effective system to regularly assess and monitor the quality of service that people receive.
