During a routine inspection

We spoke with three patients who told us that were very happy with all the treatment received and had confidence in the treatment prescribed as they felt 'it was backed up by a great deal of knowledge'. The all felt that they received sufficient information to be able to make decisions about their treatment and always received written treatment plans. We saw documentary evidence to support this.

The staff were welcoming and courteous and patients felt that they were well looked after. We were able to observe this directly.

We spoke with both nurses, the receptionist and practice manager who all said that they received excellent support in their ability to be able to carry out their work and maintain their qualifications. The personnel files supported this evidence in the training received.

The premises and surgeries were well maintained and there was a good system of cross infection control which was noted by the patient.
