During a routine inspection
Dentists recorded assessments of patients' oral and dental health. Patient records were updated when patients attended the practice for check-ups or treatment. The practice and its staff were prepared for medical emergencies.
The service was clean and had systems to protect patients and staff against the risk of healthcare associated infections. Essential guidance in decontamination of dental instruments was followed.
Staff received professional development and were supported by the service to maintain required standards of training.
