During a routine inspection

People who used the service said that staff treated them with respect and involved them in decisions about their care. They said that they received the medical treatment, counselling and support they needed. Documents and records showed there were reliable measures in place to keep people safe from abuse and to safely administer medication. We saw that staff were being helped to complete their work in an effective and coordinated way. We observed that stakeholders had been invited to contribute to the development of the service. Records showed that the provider was monitoring and assessing how well the service was responding to people's needs for assistance.

All of the five people with whom we spoke gave us positive feedback about the service. One person said, 'I choose to go and get help there because I want to get off drugs and have a life. The staff there understand drugs and how hard it can be to get off and stay off. They've helped me a lot and have been there for me.'
