During a routine inspection

We spoke with three people who used the service, two of whom had used the service for a number of years. They told us they were very satisfied with the care and treatment they received. One person said 'I am very happy with the treatment I get here. I have been coming for years, and so have my children, who are adults now. That says how I feel about it. The staff have always looked after me well and I feel comfortable with them."

Records showed that care and treatment was planned in a way that was intended to ensure people's safety and welfare. People told us they were given clear information about their treatment options and costs so they could make informed decisions.

People were cared for in a clean, hygienic environment. There were effective systems in place to ensure that people were protected from the risk of infection. Staff were knowledgeable about the practice's decontamination procedures.

We saw that clinical staff were registered with the General Dental Council (GDC). Records showed that clinical staff employed to work at the practice were undertaking their continuing professional development (CPD) as required to maintain their registration with the GDC.
