During a routine inspection
People said that staff were polite, friendly and courteous and always treated them with respect. People told us they had been given all the information required to make an informed decision about their treatment. One person said "the dentist always explains what treatment I'm having and the reasons why."
There were effective systems in place to reduce the risk and spread of infection and the practice was clean and hygienic. People told us that staff always provided them with protective glasses during their treatment to minimise the risks of cross contamination.
Staff received appropriate professional development to carry out their job roles effectively and meet the needs of the people using the service.
The provider had an effective system to regularly assess and monitor the quality of service that people receive. People were aware of the complaints procedure and complaints had been investigated and resolved where possible.
