Patients we spoke with told us they were satisfied with their treatment. Comments included, 'He is a good dentist and I appreciate his work; he has advised me in terms of treatment and I appreciate that. I would recommend him to anybody,' and 'The dentist has told me what he is planning to do; I thought that was good.'

Patients' comments about cleanliness included, 'Cleanliness is second to none,' 'It's always spotless; cleanliness is excellent,' 'Cleanliness is fantastic,' 'Cleanliness seemed fine,' and 'It's always been clean.'

Patients spoke positively about staff, including: 'The staff are always pleasant and courteous; they are a credit to the practice,' 'The staff are lovely and they are professional; they don't chitter chatter in the background,' and 'Staff are friendly, approachable, and efficient; they seem to know exactly what they have got to do.'

We reviewed the analysed results of surveys for the last two years. Some typical comments by patients from the 2012 survey were: 'An excellent practice,' 'I have been satisfied during the time I have been a patient here,' 'I feel very satisfied with my treatment up to now, thank you,' and 'Very pleased with both my treatment and the fact that I am now on NHS dental treatment.'
