During a routine inspection

On the day of the inspection we met with the practice manager and another practice manager from the same organisation who told us they were at the inspection to "assist and support the manager." The practice manager told us the practice had been taken over by Integrated Dental Holdings (IDH) in April 2014.

Patients told us they were treated with respect and dignity. They expressed satisfaction with the care and treatment provided.

Patients we spoke with told us "this is an excellent practice, it must be the best in the area, I couldn't wish for anything better", "the dentist has patience", and "I would recommend this practice (and I have done) as the service is second to none".

People were protected from the risk of infection because appropriate guidance had been followed.

Patients could be assured that any complaints they made would be investigated by the practice as the provider had effective systems in place.

We were able to speak to patients of the dental practice. They indicated that they had been treated with respect and dignity. They expressed satisfaction with the care and treatment provided.

People we spoke with told us "this is an excellent practice, it must be the best in the area, I couldn't wish for anything better", "the dentist has patience", and "I would recommend this practice (and I have done) as the service is second to none', 'he (the dentist) is so kind".

People who used the service were protected from the risk of abuse, because the provider had taken reasonable steps to identify the possibility of abuse and prevent abuse from happening.

People were protected from the risk of infection because appropriate guidance had been followed.

People can be assured that the services provided are monitored for quality as the provider had effective systems in place.
