During a routine inspection
People described the reception staff as 'lovely' and 'very accommodating.' We observed consideration being given to people's mobility needs. People were spoken to in a quiet and courteous manner.
People said and we saw records which demonstrated people were well informed of the options available to them. One person said their child had been fully involved in the choices about their proposed treatment.
We saw people were asked about their medical history at each visit. This ensured the dentist was aware of any changes they needed to know about.
Staff at the practice had received training on how to safeguard children and vulnerable adults. There was clear guidance for staff to follow if they were concerned about someone's safety.
People told us they had no concerns about the standard of cleanliness at the practice. The provider had appropriate systems to ensure the risk of cross infection was minimised.
We saw appropriate systems were in place to respond to any concerns or complaints raised.
