During a routine inspection

We did not have the opportunity to speak to people who used the service on this occasion. This was because people were attending for individual appointments and we did not want to interrupt the scanning process or place any additional stress on individuals.

People who used the service were asked by the provider to complete a questionnaire about their experience. We looked at the report compiled from the completed questionnaires covering the last quarter of 2012. The report showed 78% of the people surveyed rated the Dewsbury centre as 'excellent' and a further 16% rated it as 'very good'.

We saw that people were treated with respect and their privacy and dignity were protected.
