During a routine inspection

We used a number of different methods to help us understand the experiences of people living at 98 Booker Avenue. This was because the people who used the service had complex needs which meant they were not able to tell us their experiences. We observed during our inspection that the people living at 98 Booker Avenue appeared happy and content living there. We found people were treated respectfully and given support to have their say in how they wanted to be helped and were supported to do the things they wanted to do.

Some of the people living at 98 Booker Avenue had limited verbal communication but could communicate in a number of other ways. They were given information in a format that they could understand and were supported by people who knew how to communicate with them when decisions needed to be made about their care and welfare. During a routine inspection

Due to the different ways that the people living at 98 Booker Avenue communicate we were not able to directly ask them their views on the support they received.

However, during our visit we met with all of the people living there. We spent time observing the support they received from staff with their everyday lives and how they chose to spend their time at home. We have taken this information into account in writing this report.
