During a routine inspection

We spoke with nine people who used the service who told us that the staff treated them with respect and listened and acted on what they said. Three people said that they were consulted about the care and support that they were provided with. One person said that the staff always asked them how they preferred to be supported with their personal care and that the staff were always 'gentle'.

People told us that they chose what they wanted to eat and when they wanted to eat. One person said that if they wanted to get up late in the morning they did and that they could have breakfast what time they wanted. People told us that the quality of the food was good and that they were provided with enough to eat and drink.

A person told us that the quality of the laundry service was good and that their clothing was always 'nicely ironed'.

Four people told us that there were activities provided that they could choose to participate in. One person told us that they enjoyed the activities and chatting with staff.
