During an inspection looking at part of the service
People said they were able to express choices and take decisions about things that were important to them. Staff understood their needs and their preferences in how they liked their care and support to be provided.
People were aware of the planned activities programme, although they didn't have to join in if they didn't want to. They told us that they enjoyed the meals provided and considered the chef to be very good at what he did.
People felt safe and trusted staff to act in their best interests. They valued having their personal possessions to hand in their private space, which they said was cleaned by staff on a regular basis.
People were confident that staff would take their concerns seriously and take the appropriate action to resolve issues to their satisfaction.
