During a routine inspection

People who live at Bealey's Lane were able to confirm they were happy living there although they have limited verbal communication skills.The service provides good care and support to people, although due to staffing constraints there is a risk this will not continue. We saw positive staff interactions with staff being caring and respectful to people. People were seen to be relaxed and happy when staff were present. People were appropriately dressed in clothing of their choice and suitable for their age and gender.

The management of medicines is undertaken safely and there are good systems in place to ensure people have the medicines they need.

The home is warm and relatively comfortable although there is a need to make the home more homely. This will be a challenge due to the needs of some people who currently live at Bealey's Lane. The maintenance needs of the home must be addressed more quickly than previously.
