During a routine inspection

People who used the service told us their privacy and dignity were respected and their views and experiences were taken into account in the way the service was provided and delivered in relation to their treatment. The relative of a person using the service said, 'My wife's carers are always respectful and listen to what I have to say about how she should be cared for.'

People experienced care, treatment and support that met their needs and protected their rights. The people we spoke with said they received good care and support delivered by kind and reassuring staff. One person using the service said, 'My carers are really great. I couldn't ask for anymore.'

People who use the service were protected from the risk of abuse, because the provider had taken reasonable steps to identify the possibility of abuse and prevent abuse from happening.

People were cared for by staff who were supported to deliver care and treatment safely and to an appropriate standard.

There was an effective complaints system available.

We visited some people at home to listen to their views about the service they received. The comments we heard were all positive. They included:

- The carers are very nice, polite and courteous.

- I cannot ask for anything more ' they're so dedicated, they come always with a smile.

- They never let you down.

- They stay to do the job, they turn up on time.

- Very friendly, very thorough, never ever rush.
