During an inspection looking at part of the service
A person that lived at the home said they were happy living there and had no issues of concern, they said 'I have no worries'.
A person that lived at the home said they were happy living there and had no issues of concern, they said 'I have no worries'.
On the ground floor a person told us that they 'had no complaints' and were satisfied with the way they were cared for. Another person pointed out members of staff with whom they got on well and said were helpful.
A visitor to the first floor told us that they appreciated the gestures that staff had made to celebrate their relative's birthday. They said that staff kept them in touch with their relative's progress and welfare.
We found that some improvements have been made since our previous visit but in some important areas we found insufficient progress. There have been a number of senior staff changes both within the home and at an organisational level. It is anticipated by the organisation that this will strengthen the management systems at Cherrycroft.
A visitor told us that the home provides good care for the person they visit. We were also told that the staff keep relatives informed about important issues and consider their needs.
