All Inspections

10 January 2013

During a routine inspection

During the visit we observed the way staff were providing support to people who used the service. We saw that staff communicated clearly with people before providing any care. Where people were able to, they had signed consent forms as part of the care planning process.

People told us that staff provided the care and support they needed. We spoke with the relatives of three people who use the service. All of the relatives were positive about the care provided to people who use the service. Comments included, 'Absolutely brilliant', 'Staff are kind and provide the care (their relative) needs' and 'Staff exceed expectations all the time'.

People who used the service told us they were able to get their medicines when they needed them. People also said they were able to raise concerns with the staff or manager and were confident that action would be taken to address the issue.
