During a routine inspection
They told us:
'The manager is a lovely girl, all the staff are lovely'they go out all the time'It's the same every time you go all the people are friendly and welcoming'.
There were three people who currently lived at the home and they had all lived there for a long time. They all had complex needs and were unable to contribute to our report. We observed interaction between them and staff on duty and it was clear that their needs were well known to staff. It appeared that people living there were happy and content and they were given the support they needed.
We asked staff what it was like working at Carnatic Road and they told us:
'It's nice the whole company is nice actually, (I've) worked for twenty five years for the company '.
'It's a team'.
'Staff are a good staff team, any problems it gets dealt with'.
