Comments from one included, 'they explained everything. I am more relaxed and I understand what is going to happen', 'they reassured me that everything is confidential' and 'the nurse has gone through the pregnancy book with me and advised on relevant sections to read.'

Staff were aware of the importance of respecting patients' privacy, dignity and human rights, which they demonstrated in so many ways, including undertaking consultations in private rooms. Staff demonstrated they understood aspects of safeguarding process relevant to them. They told us they were well supported by the management and were aware of their limitations but confident to approach managers when they needed to.

The provider had systems to monitor the quality of the service, some of which we saw had been utilised to produce service improvement plans.
