At our inspection in December 2012 we found the provider had not made reasonable arrangements to ensure that staff working in the clinic had received safeguarding training related to the service. The staff did not have access to adult safeguarding information to assist them in responding to safeguarding concerns.

We completed a follow up review of the provider in June 2013 and found they had ensured that people were safeguarded against the risk of abuse. We found that staff had received training up to date safeguarding training and information was available for the people who used the service.

We met one person that received treatment and spoke with others by telephone. They found out about the clinic in various ways, through advertising and on the Internet. They all said that the initial consultation was useful and informative. They told us staff had explained the treatment and they were told about possible side effects and limitations.

People were complimentary about the way the staff responded to them and the treatment they received. Everyone said they would return for more treatment or recommend the clinic to others.
