During a routine inspection

We spoke with three people who used the service and to one relative. They told us they received the care, treatment and support they required and in the way they prefered. People told us they got on well with the staff. One person described the service as "fantastic".

Care, treatment and support was risk assessed and risk management plans were in place. The planning and delivery of care was carried out in a person focused way. Choice, autonomy and independence was promoted for people who used the service.

People received care, treatment and support from a consistent staff team who knew and understood their needs.There was ongoing staff training and development and staff had their competency assessed. At the time of our visit the provider was in the process of recruiting more registered nurses.

People who used the service were asked for their feedback about the quality of service provision.

During a routine inspection

We spoke with two people who used the service and to one relative. People told us they were satisfied with the care treatment and support they received. We saw that staff ensured that people had opportunities to participate in a range of recreational and social activities that were meaningful to them. One person told us " I can speak with staff about any issues, the service is perfect".

Staff were organised into teams and trained to provide care, treatment and support to meet the needs of the individual they supported. People received consistent care, treatment and support from a familiar staff team. Staff teams were supervised and supported by a care team manager (a qualified nurse).
